The article describes the key features of neo-liberalism as a political economy and ideology that have received the priority development in the western countries at the end of XX century. Drawing on recent studies of western social thinkers the author sets out the key elements of the model of science conditioned by neo-liberalism. It is concluded that there is a pronounced conflict between the classical (Mertonian) and neoliberal conceptions of science.
Проанализированы ключевые моменты неолиберализма как политической экономии и идеологии, получивших приоритетное развитие в странах Запада в последней четверти XX в. На основе изучения новейших исследований западных социальных мыслителей осуществлена оценка узловых элементов модели науки, обусловленной неолиберализмом. Сделан вывод, что налицо явно выраженный конфликт классической (мертоновской) и неолиберальной концепций науки.
