This article explores the European historical tradition of the concept «just price». The sources for this research are as follows: normative texts of Roman law, the medieval doctrine of ius commune. The author also evaluates the influence of Thomas Aquinas' ethics and the Aristotelian idea of compensatory exchange on the Spanish school of late scholastics of the 16th century.
В статье рассматриваются некоторые исторические аспекты формирования концепции справедливой цены по материалам источников римского права, средневекового ius commune. Оценивается влияние этического учения Фомы Аквинского и Аристотелевской идеи справедливого обмена на правоведов XVI в.
